The daily F1 racing game for your coffee break
Coffee Grand Prix is a free daily F1 racing game you play in your web browser. Every day at midnight UTC a new race track goes live, and every player in the world races the same one. Drive as many laps as you like, set your fastest lap time, and see where it ranks on the global leaderboard. There is nothing to download and no account required.
Think of it as a daily game like Wordle, but instead of guessing a word you chase a hot lap. It is made for Formula 1 and motorsport fans, time-trial obsessives, and anyone who wants a quick game with a real leaderboard at the end of it.
Coffee Grand Prix is a free daily F1-style racing game that runs in your web browser. Each day brings one new top-down race track, the same for every player, and the goal is to set the fastest lap time on it. The best times go on a global leaderboard for that day's track.
Yes. Coffee Grand Prix is free to play and runs in your browser, so there is nothing to download or install. You don't need an account to race or to post a time on the leaderboard.
A new track goes live every day at midnight UTC (00:00 UTC). The home page shows a countdown to the next one. Each day's track keeps its own leaderboard, so a time set today stays on today's board.
Steer with the left and right arrow keys or A and D, or tap the on-screen buttons on a phone or tablet. The car accelerates by itself and builds speed on the straights. There is no brake: turning scrubs off speed, so smooth steering is the fastest way round. Press Space to start or restart a lap.
A hot lap is a single flying lap driven flat out for the fastest possible time, as in Formula 1 qualifying. It is different from an out-lap or in-lap, which are driven to and from the pits. In Coffee Grand Prix every timed lap is a hot lap, and your fastest one is the time that counts.
Yes. The F1 tracks page has 26 miniature versions of Formula 1 circuits, including Monza, Silverstone, Spa, Suzuka, Monte Carlo and Las Vegas. You can race any of them on any day. For circuits on the current calendar, your time counts toward that circuit's next Grand Prix leaderboard. Race the F1 circuits →
Yes. It works in any modern browser on a desktop, laptop, phone or tablet. On a touchscreen you steer with the on-screen left and right buttons; on a keyboard you use the arrow keys or A and D.
No. You can race anonymously and still post a leaderboard time. Signing in lets you claim a unique driver name, get a verified badge next to your times, keep a driver profile with your race history, and add friends.
The ghost car is a replay of an earlier lap that drives on the track alongside you. You can race against your own fastest lap or the fastest lap of the day, which shows exactly where you are losing time.
Yes. The track list shows every past daily track by date, and you can race any of them from there or from the leaderboard. A lap on a past track counts toward that track's own leaderboard. Browse past tracks →
Yes. The track builder lets you draw your own race track, test-drive it, and submit it once it passes the track checks. Submitted tracks can be chosen as a future daily track for everyone to race. Open the track builder →
Sign in, then open the Friends page to share your invite link or add friends by driver name. Once you are connected, each day's leaderboard has a Friends view that ranks just you and your friends.
Every lap is checked before it reaches the leaderboard. The game confirms you drove through the track's checkpoints, each submission has to answer a one-time challenge from the server, and the server verifies the lap was driven with the standard car settings. Laps that fail are rejected.

Because it is meant to fit in a coffee break. A new racetrack arrives every day, a lap takes moments, and the challenge is to put in your best lap time before your coffee gets cold.
